We are very pleased to introduce our new professional engineer, Mr Pavit Maneerat, joining IMV Thailand from 1^st September. He has a lot of experience of an environmental testing, especially his skill and knowledge of shock & vibration testing is excellent. We are highly expecting he can expand our testing service not only in Thailand but also to other countries  In the interview, Pavit spoke about his goal at IMV.

Looking at your new job, what appeals to you most?

Pavit: In term of test lab, IMV has good potential as test machine manufacturer with unique technology. So IMV can fulfill customer test requirement better than technical center where bought IMV machine. In addition, Electric Vehicle and their components also required vibration test that is be our core business.

What will be your job within IMV in the future?

Pavit: I will do as technical sale to support customer test project as 1 stop service lab. IMV has unique sale point in vibration test but customer also required the others test scope, i.e. environmental, chemical, failure analysis, etc., that we can support customers test requested with our partner lab.

What about your education and later your professional career?

Pavit: I have worked in HDD materials sciences lab since 2003. Then, I supported lab setup in HDD filtration company. After 3 years in HDD component manufacturer, I move to automotive part manufacturer as test engineer and 3 technical center i.e. TÜV Rheinland, SGS, TÜV SÜD, to supported their automotive component lab expansion project. In 2016 at TUV SUD, I was transfers to be Business Development to expand new service scope especially Electric Vehicle.

I graduated B.Sc. (Physics) and M.Sc. (Materials Sciences) in Thailand. I also plan to study Ph.D in acoustic, that will be significant in Electric Vehicle, because motor is too quiet compare to combustion engine vehicle. Acoustic room and IMV permanent magnet shaker will be essential for EV and their components in the future.

I will try to grow up IMV test business to be one of leader 1 stop service lab for local customers.
