ECO-Shaker
Ecology-Vibration Test and Environmental Friendliness-
Received the Japan Machinery Federation Chairman’s Award for Excellent Energy Conservation Equipment in 2012
Electrodynamic vibration test system requires many electricity, electric power. Our ECO-shaker has adopted our own energy-saving techniques to reduce electric consumption and CO2 emissions by calculation the required electric power on its own. We received the 2012 Japan Machinery Federation Chairman’s Award for its contribution to the promotion of efficient energy use. IMV products employ this energy-saving technique in their product lineup, and develop products that are considerate of social safety, comfort, and ecology.
Full-scale automatic energy saving
ECO-shaker is a automatically optimal Control of output of power amplifier, vibration generator, and cooling blower to minimize power consumption depending on test requirement.
No complicated set up in manual by SETTING personnel is required.
Automatic Control allows the tester to Operate within the capacity of the test system without stopping the test, even if “Output level changes associated with changes in specimen properties” or “temperature increases in test system associated with temperature increases in environment condition” occurs.
Point
-
Simply specify test requirement
-
Automatically responds to changes in specimen response
-
Auto Control of blower speed with temperature observing
- Operation condition Determination system and Methods
(patent No. 4231095) - Operation condition Determination system and Programming
(patent No. 4263229)
Vibration controller K2
Reduce CO2 and check electric consumption with real time
In combination with vibration controller K2, vibration test is performed at automatically optimum electricity, electric power using the same test procedure as before. Electric consumption volume can also be checked on graph plane while performing tests, so you can determine how much you are reducing for each test.

Electric consumption comparison with conventional system
The smaller system output, the higher effect of energy saving of ECO-shaker compared to the conventional type.

ISM-EM Operation (electric consumption)
Conventional type operation
Due to its function, electrodynamic vibration test system is used in a variety of applications, from electronic parts to large scale specimens. For this reason, when power supply is turned on, field coil and cooling blower in vibration generator can always be tested in maximum force state. Therefore, only power amplifier output is turned Control according to test requirement.
Operation of ISM-EM
In the past, there was a way to reduce electric consumption with manual, but we had to calculation the required excitation force in consideration of test requirement and specimen and turn it adjustment.
Therefore, operation was not possible for the optimal power consumption by test requirement.
ECO-shaker ISM-EM technique of set up according to test requirement to minimize power consumption by power amplifier, vibration generator and cooling blower to automatically appropriate output.
Supporting existing system[Retrofit]
When using IMV’s vibraration test system, the addition of units and adjustment enable ISM-EM technological energy savings. However, it may be out of object depending on the delivery date and system composition, so please turn it inquiy for more information.
Improved working condition
Acoustic noise originating from vibraration test system limits operation and installation location.
Since ECO-shaker turns blower at the required speed of rotation, it not only cuts out unnecessary Control of power consumption, but also reduces speed of rotation by condition to achieve acoustic noise reduction.
Contributing to ECO Environments
With the start of the domestic CDM (Clean-Development Mechanism) in January 2008 and the revision of the Energy Conservation Law in April 2009, companies are now required to conserve more energy. ECO-shaker helps reduce CO2 by reducing power consumption (eliminating electricity charges) and contributes to society.
