Laboratory Certifications (ISO/IEC 17025)

ISO/IEC 17025(JIS Q 17025) is an international test standard on “General requirements for the competence of testing laboratories and calibration organizations”. ISO 9001 is a test standard that relates solely to the quality management system, ISO/IEC 17025 contains the requirements for the quality management system and the technical level of the test.

After obtaining laboratory certification, IMV’s quality management system control capabilities and the technical level for vibration, shock, temperature cycling, vibration temperature cycling, and combined system testing were internationally recognized. In other words, customers can obtain internationally reliable test results.

Japan

Laboratory Certification (ISO/IEC 17025).

IMV has established a quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 at all of its sites in Japan where it carries out contract vibration and shock testing, and has been accredited by the Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment. Companies operating quality management systems (ISO/TS 16949) for the automotive industry and other companies that outsource testing tend to specify ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories, which has become essential.

* IMV has been accredited as a testing laboratory under the IECQ system ISO/IEC 17025 since 2007, but due to the high level of customer demand, the accreditation body has been changed to the Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (JAB), an ILAC international mutual recognition member.

In JAB laboratory certification, the technical competence of testing laboratories for specific types of testing (electrical testing, mechanical and physical testing, chemical testing, food testing, etc.) and calibration (electromagnetic, geometric, mechanical and thermodynamic quantities, etc.) is mutually accepted by 37 organisations in 28 countries under the ‘International Mutual Recognition Arrangement’.

Thailand

Laboratory Certification (ISO/IEC 17025).

IMV (THAILAND) CO., LTD. has established a quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, an international standard that specifies the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, and is certified by A2LA.

IMV TECHNO VIETNAM CO., LTD has established a quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, an international standard that specifies the competence of testing laboratories to perform tests, and is certified by the Bureau of Accreditation Vietnam.
