Vibration Testing of Nanosatellite “TENKOU-3” | Okuyama Laboratory, Nihon University
We have been commissioned by the Japan High Reliability Evaluation Test Centre (e-TCJ) to carry out random vibration testing on the small satellite ‘Tenko 3’.
Proven Resistance to Rocket Launch Environments
We verified environmental tolerance by conducting a Modal Survey Test (resonance search) to evaluate the structural dynamics of the satellite, alongside a Random Vibration Test to reproduce the non-periodic vibrations experienced during rocket launch.
Test Conditions
Test Types: FM Random Modal Survey (0.5 Grms), Random Vibration (6.8 Grms)
Procedure: The test specimen was inserted into a fixture simulating the dispenser and subjected to vibration across three orthogonal axes (X, Y, and Z) to confirm normal operation without abnormalities.
