NICT is the only national research organisation in the field of information and communications. An optical digital communication experiment between space and ground is planned in a high-rise tower on the ground, and they asked us to measure the vibration of the tower.

Analysis details

Vibrations of the high-rise tower were measured using servo accelerometers, and the tower sway was analysed, radian angles calculated and wind effects investigated, and the effects on transmitted and received data analysed.
