Tests on control panels

  • Vibration test case study
  • Shock
  • JIS standard
  • Earthquake resistance

Test overview

■ Purpose

To conduct a seismic test of the control panel and confirm that there is no abnormality in operation

■ EUT

W600 × D450 × H1900 ㎜, 250 kg

■ Test conditions

Reference standard: JIS C 60068-3-3

  • Vibration waveform: Sine beat wave
  • Acceleration level: 6.0 m/s2
  • Frequency: 5 Hz, 7.5 Hz, 11.3 Hz, 25.3 Hz, 35 Hz and resonance frequency
  • Number of cycles: 5 times
  • Wave number: 10 Cycle
  • Pause time: 2 seconds

■ Implementation

4 points on the bottom of the EUT were bolted.
A resonance exploration test was carried out before the seismic test, and the frequency with a response factor of 2 or more was adopted as the resonance frequency.
Operation was confirmed by energizing during sine beat wave excitation.
