フィリピンから政府関係の方々が地震対策の視察に来日されました。
充実した防災対策をしておられる東京電機大学様の校舎ビルに設置された地震計や免震・制振装置などを見学後、藤田聡教授による地震観測の重要性についての講義を受けられ、初めての装置や情報を熱心に収集されておられました。
Philippines Government officials came to Japan with the purpose of inspecting earthquake counter measures.
They took a tour regarding seismographs, seismic isolation and vibration damping devices installed at the Tokyo Denki University, which is implementing full disaster prevention measures.
After the tour, they got a lecture on the importance of seismic observation by Prof. Satoshi Fujita, and they got the equipment and information enthusiastically.
