IMV Delivers Vibration Test System K200 to Foxconn

IMV has delivered its water-cooled, large-scale vibration test system “K200” to Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (Foxconn), a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company based in Taiwan.

Why Foxconn Chose IMV

Foxconn’s AI servers incorporate high-performance semiconductors at high density. To manage the substantial amount of heat generated by these components, the servers are equipped with water-cooling systems.

During transportation to their installation sites by truck or air, these high-performance servers must be able to withstand severe vibration and shock without damaging their semiconductors, water-cooling pipes, or other critical components. Vibration testing is therefore essential for evaluating the durability and reliability of AI servers under transportation conditions.

IMV has extensive experience in providing vibration test systems capable of reliably testing large and heavy AI servers.

Such demanding reliability testing also requires test equipment that can operate stably over the long term, backed by a strong and responsive support structure.

Foxconn chose IMV not only for the specifications and capabilities of its large-scale vibration test systems, but also for its extensive track record, technical expertise, and global support network extending through after-sales service.

Meeting the Need for Large-Scale Vibration Testing

In recent years, as AI servers, semiconductor-related equipment, and other advanced products have become larger and more sophisticated, IMV has seen an increasing number of international projects involving large-scale vibration test systems.

IMV will continue to meet the testing needs of advanced industries, including the AI sector, and contribute to improving product reliability through high-performance, highly reliable vibration testing technologies and its global support network.

Revenue from this project will be recognized in the fiscal year ended September 2026. The contract value will not be disclosed.
